Digital Power Solutions Manager

1. Job Purpose

The Digital Power Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the development, commercialization, implementation, and lifecycle management of digital power and energy solutions that improve power reliability, energy efficiency, operational visibility, asset performance, and customer value.

The role combines power and energy expertise with digital technologies, including energy management systems, remote monitoring, IoT, cloud platforms, intelligent power systems, data analytics, automation, and digital asset management.

The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams and work closely with customers, technology partners, suppliers, engineering teams, sales, finance, and operations to identify opportunities and deliver innovative, scalable, and commercially viable digital power solutions.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Digital Power Strategy & Business Development

Ø Develop and execute the digital power solutions strategy in alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives.

Ø Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities within digital energy and power management.

Ø Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Ø Develop new digital power solution offerings based on customer needs and market demand.

Ø Build business cases for new solutions, technologies, partnerships, and investments.

Ø Develop and manage the digital power solutions pipeline and contribute to revenue growth.

B. Solution Design & Architecture

Ø Lead the design of end-to-end digital power solutions for commercial, industrial, telecommunications, utility, data centre, and other customers as applicable.

Ø Translate customer business and technical requirements into practical digital power solutions.

Ø Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, cost-effective, and fit for purpose.

Ø Develop solution architectures, technical specifications, bills of materials, solution proposals, and implementation methodologies.

Ø  Ensure interoperability between different power systems, devices, sensors, software platforms, and communication protocols.

Ø  Evaluate the suitability of technologies such as:

Ø  Smart energy meters

Ø  IoT devices and sensors

Ø Remote monitoring systems

Ø Energy Management Systems

Ø Battery Energy Storage Systems

C. Customer Solutions & Technical Engagement

Ø  Engage with customers to understand their power, energy, operational, and digital transformation requirements.

Ø Conduct technical assessments and site surveys where required.

Ø Develop customized technical and commercial solutions.
