Request for Quotation (RFQ) – External Hardstand Works – Kitwe AGL Office

1. Introduction

AGL Zambia Limited (AGL) hereby invites quotations from qualified and reputable construction companies for the execution of external hardstand works (concrete slabs and stone base works) at our Kitwe Office. The works shall be executed in line with the scope below.

2. Scope of Works
The works required as broken down as below:

a) Concrete Slab Works– 3950 m² (200 mm thick) which will include but not limited to:

– Site Clearance and preparation.
– Excavation and levelling.
– Hardcore Fill and Compaction.
– Steel Reinforcement.

b) Stone Base – 270 m² (200 mm thick, 19mm stone fill) which will include but not limited to:

– Site Clearance and preparation.
– Excavation and levelling.
– Hardcore Fill and Compaction.

3. Mandatory Requirements

All interested companies must submit the following:

1. Valid NCC Certification (National Council for Construction – Zambia).

2. Valid Business Registration Certificate and Tax Clearance Certificate.

3. Evidence of works completed in the last 5 years (minimum of 3 references).

4. Company profile with key personnel.

4. Submission of Quotation

Quotations must include:

– Detailed cost breakdown (materials, labor, equipment, overheads).

– VAT and WHT clearly indicated.

– Proposed timeline and methodology for execution.

– Payment terms (aligned with industry practice – AGL will negotiate as necessary).

– Validity period (minimum 30 days).

5. Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be evaluated based on:

– Compliance with mandatory requirements.

– Technical capacity and past experience.

– Financial proposal (competitiveness and completeness).

– Delivery timelines.
