AfroGo is a subsidiray company of Zafrik Consulting Limited.  AfriGo specializes in civic-tech dedicated to strengthening democracy, transparency, and citizen participation. Our latest project is a mobile application designed to support election observation, reporting, and civic engagement.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead the promotion and user acquisition strategy for our election-focused mobile app. The ideal candidate will combine digital marketing expertise with a strong understanding of civic engagement, political communication, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for app launch and growth.
  2. Manage social media campaigns, content creation, and community engagement.
  3. Build partnerships with NGOs, election observers, civil society groups, and media organizations.
  4. Run targeted digital ads (Facebook, X/Twitter, Google, LinkedIn) to reach stakeholders.
  5. Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
  6. Provide recommendations to improve user acquisition, retention, and brand visibility.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in digital marketing (preferably in tech, civic engagement, or elections).
  2. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, and content marketing.
  3. Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar tools.
  4. Excellent communication and networking skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  6. Bonus: Experience working with NGOs, civic-tech projects, or political campaigns.
