Bus Attendants, Auto electrician, Fleet Manager

1.  BUS ATTENDANTS

Responsibilities:

·        Welcoming and greeting passengers during on boarding and directing them to assigned seats

·        Providing information to passengers on route and trip schedules as required

·        Maintain workspace hygiene by adhering to health and safety regulations

·        Preparation of required bus trip documentation to ensure accurate passenger information is used before onboarding.

·        Perform such other duties as assigned

 Job requirements: Zambian citizens aged between 22 - 30 years, mature, honest, disciplined, flexible, multi tasked, good customer service, demonstrate a strong commitment to their work and numerate with ability to read and write.

Proven experience in customer service/sales/marketing or similar field will be added advantage

Mandatory requirements; application letter, curriculum vitae (CV) max 2 pages, copies of G12 certificate, National Registration Card and recent passport sized photo

At least two contacts of traceable and credible employment referees.

2.  AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICIAN (HEAVY DUTY)

 Responsibilities:

Strong demonstration to; Diagnose and repair starting and charging systems, wiring harnesses, sensors,  Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and control modules, lighting and safety systems in heavy-duty vehicles (preferably Scania engines). Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer standards. Carry out field repair assignments when required. Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and manuals.

Job requirements: Zambian citizen, diploma in heavy duty automotive electrical, minimum of 5 years’ proven work experience in heavy duty vehicles with at least two traceable employment referees from reputable organisations with reachable contacts, Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ), mature, professional with strong communication skills, honest, reliable and disciplined.

Mandatory requirements; application letter, curriculum vitae (CV) max 2 pages, copy of GCE school certificate, minimum Diploma in heavy duty automotive electrical, and copy of National Registration Card, at least two traceable employment reference letters from reputable organisations with reachable contacts (MUST not be more than 12 months from date of issue) for proof of work experience in heavy duty vehicles.

3.  FLEET MANAGER

Responsibilities:

 ·        Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with road safety standards.

·        Manage budgets related to fleet operations, including fuel, maintenance, and repair costs.

·        Ensure the fleet operates in compliance with related local and national transport regulations and stay updated on the standards.

·        Monitor driver performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues related to safety and performance.

·        Monitor vehicle location, performance, and maintenance needs by use of fleet management software and telematics systems.

·        Identify and mitigate risks associated with fleet operations, including accidents, breakdowns, and delays.

·        Generate regular reports on fleet performance, costs, and efficiency.

·        Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

 Job requirements

·        Zambian citizen with minimum age of 40 years

·        Diploma in Logistics or a related field and member of the Zambia Institute of Transport and Logistics (ZITL).

·        Minimum of 5 years’ proven work experience in heavy duty logistics or fleet management, including team supervision in transport environment. Attach least two traceable employment referees from reputable organisations with reachable contacts. (Reference letters MUST not be more than 12 months from date of issue). Minimum class CE drivers licence will be an added advantage.

Must be computer literate (good in both excel, word, and outlook) with knowledge in vehicle tracking applications preferably Heavy duty vehicles, vehicle technology, safety protocols, personal management and good network in the transport environment.

Good communication, leadership, problem solving, risk management, organization and negotiation.
