Mechanical Fitter

Accountabilities
1. Conduct regular inspection checks on mechanical equipment to ensure that the system is running efficiently at all times.
2. Carry out system equipment maintenance duties to enhance equipment availability.
3. Undertake prompt mechanical repairs on system equipment to maintain continuous operations.
4. Effectively carry out mechanical installation of new equipment within scheduled time.
5.Carry out mechanical field maintenance activities in the most effective and efficient way.
6.Undertake any other job that may be assigned from time to time.
7. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safe working practices and adhering to safety rules and regulations so as to ensure the safety and security of personnel and equipment.

Qualifications and experience

1. Minimum craft certificate in Plant Fitting or Mechanical Technician
Two (2) years post qualification experience
2. Should be computer literate
3. Ability to work with minimum supervision
