Position: Team Leader – Brewing

Location: NDOLA

Contract: INTERNSHIP

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:

o   Executing effective production planning and implementation.

o   Ensuring 100% availability of raw materials. Physical stock counting of all brewing raw materials.

o   Documenting all brewing processes and stock movement timeously and accurately.

o   Generating of accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

o   Conducting process checks for every brew.

o   Ensuring 100% availability of good quality product.

o   Effective utilities management to ensure optimum usage of all utilities.

o   Effective management of brewing team with sound industrial relations.

o   Continual improvement of brewing section technical audit scores.

o   Achieving profitability measures through adhering to cost control measures.

o   Adherence to SHEQ and Manufacturing Improvement systems.

o   Management in the planning and implementation of Food safe brewing practices for the production of Sorghum Beer in the right quantity and quality consistently.

o   Maintenance and improvement of internal Manufacturing and Technical Systems for the production of quality Sorghum beer consistently.

o   Implementation of sound human resources management practices in line with the conditions of service and the country’s labour laws.

o   Maintain a safe working environment that does not violate the Safety, Health and Environment Policy of the organization.

The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.

o   Grade 12 Certificate

o   Bsc Degree in Applied Sciences, Biochemistry, Food Science or equivalent.

o   Good interpersonal skills and team player

o   Knowledge of SAP is added advantage.

o   Effective communicator, Sober minded, hardworking, and problem-solving skills
