GEYES INCORPORATED, a Kitwe-based security firm, is inviting suitably qualified and disciplined individuals to apply for the position of Security Officer.

Job Responsibilities

• Controlling access to company premises and client sites.
• Conducting routine patrols and inspections.
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Maintaining occurrence books and preparing incident reports.
• Ensuring safety of company property, staff, clients, and visitors.
• Enforcing company security procedures and regulations.
• Assisting in crowd control and traffic management where necessary.
• Conducting searches when required in line with company procedures.
• Maintaining professionalism and discipline at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to comply with safety rules and company regulations.
• Sober-minded, honest, alert, and highly disciplined.
• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Smart appearance and professional conduct.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Knowledge of basic security procedures and report writing will be an added advantage.
• Must be willing to work in Kitwe and surrounding areas.

Education / Qualifications

• Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of incidents and security breaches.
• Former Zambia Police, Zambia Army, ZNS, or other disciplined force officers are encouraged to apply.
• Valid NRC required.
• Security training certificate will be an added advantage.

• Medically fit and physically capable.
• Mature and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
