We are inviting applications for the vacant position:

POSITION: SALES AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

LOCATION: KITWE, ZAMBIA

CONTRACT: PERMANENT 

Reporting to the Brewery Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

·      Lead and manage the territorial Sales & Distribution team to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.

·      Oversee distributor/wholesaler management, sales forecasting, and order planning.

·      Drive execution excellence (availability, visibility, pricing, promotions, POSM deployment).

·      Monitor and analyze market performance, competitor activities, and commercial trends.

·      Ensure consistent and timely product distribution through optimized logistics coordination.

·      Lead route-to-market improvements and implement performance dashboards.

·      Build strong customer relationships and lead regular trade visits.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and financial controls.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS

State any special abilities and/or experience he/she should have:

·      Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales and distribution leadership.

·      Strong understanding of route-to-market models and distributor management.

·      Experience with sales execution tools, demand planning, and logistics coordination.

·      Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

State preferable educational level:

·      Full Grade 12 Certificate

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

·      Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales and distribution leadership.

·      Strong understanding of route-to-market models and distributor management.

·      Experience with sales execution tools, demand planning, and logistics coordination.

·      Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
