QUALITY CONTROLLER – (HUNTLEY) (1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

• Responsible for monitoring the critical control points (CCPs).
• Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Performing inspection on equipment, machinery, products, ingredients and other raw materials at reception of the aforementioned items. Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Conducting spot checks to ensure products on pallets have correct packaging and labelling (product name, production dates and batch numbers etc.)
• Ensuring the correct recipe guidelines for the products are met during processing.
• Ensuring that employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Responsible to issue disciplinary action when directed.
• Reporting cases of non-conformance / non-compliance to the Food Safety Manager and recommend possible solutions.
• Identifying processes and procedures where safety, health and the quality of work may be improved and make recommendations.
• Collecting of both samples and lab samples.
• Facilitating clean as you go during production.
• Responsible for performing sanitation verification on equipment and other areas required
• Ensuring that all the employees adhere to the Food Safety Policy and the Hygiene Code of Conduct.

The Required Qualifications are:

• Minimum of Grade 12
• Training in GMP, HACCP and ISO22000 courses
• 1 year of working in any Food Plant.
• Suitably qualified applicants must provide certificates verified by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
