Plumber (Site Reticulation & Sanitation) x 1

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to manage the site's water distribution and sanitation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and installing the reticulation network to supply water to the entire site. This includes connecting water to accommodation units, the canteen, offices, and setting up essential sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Reticulation: Design and install the main water distribution pipeline network from the existing borehole/tank system to all site (offices, canteen, accommodation) and construction work areas.
• Sanitation Installation:Install and connect toilet and ablution blocks in the accommodation and canteen areas. Ensure proper connections for water supply and waste drainage/septic systems as required.
• Construction Water Supply: Install water standpoints and taps at strategic locations to support construction activities, such as concrete curing, compaction (water bowsers), and dust suppression.
• System Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on the reticulation network, identify and repair leaks, and ensure consistent water pressure across the site.
• Quality & Safety:Ensure all plumbing installations are watertight, hygienic, and comply with relevant health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plumber, with specific experience in large-scale site reticulation and setting up temporary site.
• Ability to design and layout efficient piping systems for a large site area.
• Experience installing sanitation (toilets/ablutions) in remote or camp settings is highly desirable.
• Relevant trade certification and the ability to work independently.
