PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST

As a Pharmacy Technologist, you will be at the heart of our operations—ensuring safe dispensing, excellent customer care, and efficient pharmacy management. This is an opportunity to work in a, professional environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines

·       Provide professional advice and counselling to customers on medications and minor ailments

·       Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and standards

·       Monitor and manage stock, including controlled and specialized medicines

·       Conduct basic health checks (e.g. blood pressure, diabetes screening)

·       Support inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising

·       Supervise and guide pharmacy support staff

·       Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage conditions (including temperature control)

·       Monitor and manage expired and near-expiry stock

·       Contribute to overall pharmacy performance and customer satisfaction

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

·       Full Grade 12 Certificate

·       Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution

·       Able to work long hours/ Shifts

·       Registered with HPCZ (mandatory)

·       Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

. Excellent with retail sales

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·       Basic computer proficiency

·       Strong organizational and time management skills

·       Leadership ability with experience supervising staff is an added advantage

·       Experience working in a retail pharmacy is an added advantage
