Supervise and coordinate patrol guards during both day and night shifts.
Ensure patrols are conducted in accordance with assigned routes, schedules, and approved procedures.
Verify that MagTouch perimeter patrol logs, occurrence books, and checkpoint records are accurately completed and submitted.
Conduct regular spot checks to ensure guards remain alert and compliant with security protocols.
Act as first responder to security incidents such as theft, trespassing, vandalism and other emergencies.
Enforce strict entry and exit control procedures for personnel and vehicles.
Ensure proper execution of searches, gate pass verification, alcohol breathalyzer testing, and accurate endorsement of movements and activities.
Ensure all security activities comply with company policies, client requirements, and legal regulations.
Address misconduct, negligence, or breaches of duty among patrol guards.
Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and mentorship.
Recommend disciplinary actions or commendations where appropriate.
Conduct daily security parades, including physical fitness exercises.
Maintain effective communication with guards, supervisors, and management.
Conduct shift briefings and end-of-shift debriefings.
Ensure proper shift handovers with complete documentation.
Ensure accurate, timely reporting and record keeping.
Ensure guards are properly equipped with radios, torches, batons, PPE, and other security tools.
Report faulty, missing, or damaged equipment promptly.
Ensure proper use, care, and safekeeping of all security equipment.
Promote safety awareness and enforce adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Identify security risks and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Security Manager.
