Ukani Construction & Engineering Limited is a construction and engineering company based in Lusaka, Zambia, offering services in structural construction, interior design and civil works. We are seeking a competent and professional Office Administrator to support our growing operations.
Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Projects and Operations Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling incoming calls, emails and walk-in enquiries professionally
- Maintain and organise company documents, contracts, site records, and correspondence
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for management and site teams
- Assist with preparation of invoices, tracking of payments, and basic bookkeeping entries
- Support procurement administration including petty cash management and supplier correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience (experience in a construction or engineering environment is an added advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
- A learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new processes and environments
