CASHIER (x3)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Transaction Processing:Ā Itemizing and totaling customer purchases, processing cash/credit transactions, and issuing receipts.
  2. Cash Management:Ā Balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
  3. Customer Service:Ā Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and providing information about products.
  4. Sales Support:Ā Assisting with sales, promoting items, and ensuring accurate pricing.
  5. Returns/Exchanges:Ā Efficiently managing product returns and exchanges.
  6. Maintenance:Ā Keeping the checkout area clean and organized.Ā 

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Education:Ā Grade 12 certificate.
  2. Experience:Ā Previous experience as a cashier, with experience in sales or hardware being an added advantage.
  3. Skills:Ā Strong communication skills, accuracy in handling money, and the ability to work under pressure.
  4. Location:Ā Residing in Lusaka.
  5. Attributes:Ā Friendly, welcoming, and a quick learner.Ā 


SALES ASSISTANT (x8)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Customer Service:Ā Actively help customers identify and purchase hardware products, offering detailed product information, features, and benefits.
  2. Sales & Promotion:Ā Meet or exceed sales targets by assisting customers in-store and managing sales follow-ups, including tracking quotes via phone calls.
  3. 3. Merchandising & Stock:Ā Maintain clean, well-organized, and visually appealing sections (shelves, floors). Replenish stock and assist with loading items for customers.
  4. Inventory & Cleaning:Ā Perform stock takes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product prices and inventory levels.
  5. Marketing Support:Ā Promote products through social media platforms (e.g.,, Instagram, WhatsApp) to drive sales.Ā 

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Education:Ā A full Grade 12 Certificate is required.
  2. Experience:Ā Experience in a similar sales position is an added advantage.
  3. Skills:Ā Strong communication skills (verbal and written), computer literacy, and ability to work in a team.
  4. Knowledge: with electrical appliances or general hardware materials is highly preferred.Ā 


EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (x3)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Acquisition & Retention:Ā Building long-lasting relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.
  2. Sales Strategy:Ā Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  3. Field Sales:Ā Traveling to meet customers, conducting site visits, and promoting company products.
  4. Negotiation & Closing:Ā Presenting proposals and negotiating to close sales.
  5. Reporting & Administration:Ā Maintaining records of leads, accounts, and submitting regular sales reports to management.Ā 

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Education:Ā Typically requires a Diploma/Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience:Ā Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role.
  3. Skills:Ā Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Technical:Ā Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge ofĀ Ivend software often considered an advantage.Ā 


FRONT-END CONTROLLER (x2)

  1. Customer Service:Ā Managing the front end of the store to ensure a positive, welcoming experience for customers entering and leaving.
  2. Operational Oversight:Ā Supervising the sales floor, managing checkout, and managing customer inquiries.
  3. Security & Loss Prevention:Ā Monitoring customer activity to prevent theft, often working in coordination with CCTV operators or acting as a loss prevention point of contact.
  4. Staff Coordination:Ā Directing sales staff and ensuring efficiency during busy periods, such as opening new checkout aisles when necessary.Ā 

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Education:Ā Grade 12 certificate.
  2. Experience:Ā Previous experience as aĀ fronthend controllerĀ with experience in sales or hardware being an added advantage.
  3. Skills:Ā Strong communication skills, accuracy in handling money, and the ability to work under pressure.
  4. Location:Ā Residing in Lusaka.
  5. Attributes:Ā Friendly, welcoming, and a quick learner.Ā
