Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads, supporting sales, and positioning NetOne as a technology leader in Zambia. The role combines strategic marketing, digital campaigns, B2B engagement, and collaboration with sales and product teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define target segments and craft messaging that resonates with key customer groups (B2B/B2C).
Brand Management & Communications
- Build and strengthen NetOne’s brand across digital and traditional channels.
- Manage content creation for website, blogs, case studies, newsletters, press releases, and social media.
- Coordinate corporate communications, PR campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Design and execute demand-generation campaigns to drive qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing collateral, pitch decks, and proposals.
- Track and report on lead conversions, ROI, and contribution to the sales pipeline.
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Manage digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
- Plan and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Use analytics tools to measure campaign performance and continuously improve results.
Events & Partnerships
- Organize presentations, activations, product launches, customer engagement events, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with partners, vendors, and industry associations to amplify reach.
Team & Budget Management
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, agencies, and freelancers.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the technology/ICT sector.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, and lead generation strategies.
- Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, Survey Monkey) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.Â
