Job Profile Summary

The Logistics Administrator is a role within the Logistics and Supply Chain, responsible for assisting with the organizations’ supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources.

The primary objective of this role is to support the achievement of cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible administration of solutions (flow of material, value, information).

This role actively supports the execution of the logistics and supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain including B2B integration.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

o  Provides support with availability of the necessary processes and systems to enable the buying team to execute the everyday activities.

o  Assists the flow of materials, products, services and information.

o  May interact with vendors and clients and intervene when queries from these stakeholders are escalated.

o  Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries.

o  Assists with regulatory processes ( eg filing of taxes)

o  Assist with office administration
