Head Tennis Coach – Lotus Way Tennis Club

Lotus Way International School is seeking a Head Tennis Coach to lead its school Tennis Club and deliver engaging coaching for teenage students. The school has an existing tennis court.

This is a part-time coaching appointment, initially involving one two-hour after-school session per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the club’s coaching programme and plan structured sessions.
• Develop students’ tennis skills, fitness, confidence and sportsmanship.
• Support beginners and adapt coaching to different ability levels.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with the school on club activities.
• Maintain safe, well-organised sessions and appropriate student supervision.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience coaching tennis to children or teenagers.
• The ability to plan a progressive coaching programme and manage a group.
• Strong communication skills, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding students.
• Applicants must live close to Ibex Meanwood or within easy commuting distance of the school.
• A recognised tennis coaching qualification is an advantage.

Schedule and Payment

• One two-hour session per week; day and time to be agreed.
• K1,000 per completed two-hour session, equivalent to K500 per hour.
• Payment on a per-session basis.
