The Head of SalesĀ is responsible forĀ developing and executing the company’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share,Ā leadingĀ a high performing salesĀ teamĀ andĀ achievingĀ business targets. The role oversees the sales team, manages key client relationships, and ensures effective sales performance across all channels.Ā 

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ 

• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s businessĀ Ā Ā Ā objectives.Ā 

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve set targets.Ā 

• Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance standards for the department.Ā 

• MonitorĀ daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide regular reports to management.Ā 

• IdentifyĀ new business opportunities, market trends, and areas for growth.Ā 

• Build andĀ maintainĀ strong relationships with key customers, partners,Ā and stakeholders.Ā 

• Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports.Ā 

• Ensure effective territory management and market penetration strategies.Ā 

• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support sales initiatives.Ā 

• Review and improve sales processes, systems, and customer acquisition strategies.Ā 

• Coach and develop sales staff through training, performance management, and mentorship.Ā 

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices.Ā

Qualifications & ExperienceĀ 

• Bachelor’s DegreeĀ in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.Ā An MBA would be an added advantageĀ 

• Professional qualification in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.Ā 

• Minimum of 5–8 years relevant sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.Ā 

• ProvenĀ track recordĀ of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Ā 

• Experience in team leadership and performance management.Ā
