JOB TITLE: FINANCE DIRECTOR

A Finance Director is responsible for managing financial health of an organization in order to promote success and growth while maintain legal financial practices. His duties typically include financial planning to determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaborating with other departments to achieve monetary goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

2. Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

3. Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

4. Advising colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the four company’s finances.

5. Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecast.

6. Mediate between the company, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.

7. Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecast.

8. Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the board.

9. Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems-while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.

10. Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.

11. Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices

12. Submit weekly reports to show financial status of the four companies in terms profit and loss
