We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, affordable, and sustainable water and power solutions through quality workmanship and innovation.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and licensed Electrician to join our growing technical team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, wiring, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for solar pumping systems, control panels, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations for solar water systems, borehole pumps, and control panels.
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and components to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in the field and workshop.
- Support project teams during installations and commissioning of water and solar systems.
- Ensure compliance with ZESCO, EIZ, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Craft Certificate or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Valid Practicing License with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or relevant regulatory body (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation, preferably in solar or water systems.
- Sound knowledge of wiring, circuit design, and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Must be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
