Role

This is a full-time Monday to Friday on-site role for a Business Development Associate, office located in Kabulonga. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for working directly for the two Directors, finding new prospective clients and maintaining excellent client service and professionalism. The role includes daily tasks such as two focused calling sessions of one hour per day to arrange meetings with prospective clients; attending networking events and taking a proactive outreach by phone and in person to affluent individuals to convey Caravel's's value proposition.

You will be strongly mentored by the Directors who are highly experienced in offshore wealth management.

Remuneration

A basic allowance will be paid monthly (from Month Two), and phone minutes provided. The bulk of earnings though will be a share of the commission from sales made and completed from meetings arranged by you.

Expected OTE will be communicated at interview.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A very solid track record of business development and client acquisition using own initiative.
• Very articulate English with strong communication skills including written as well as verbal.
• Lead Generation expertise and networking skills in affluent and HNWI settings.
• Excellent Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Prior experience in financial services will be an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field.
• You must possess a functional laptop.

KPIs

Sales are the only thing that matters. These will be measured by:

• Prime KPI is number of meetings arranged with new leads. Thereafter:
• Number of New Clients Acquired: Number of new onboarded clients.
• Revenue Generation: Fees and commissions generated from products.

Career Development

This is a foundational position in financial services sales which will last for a minimum of one year. Thereafter, with the agreement of the company you have the right to move on to Licenced Investment Advisor status if desired.
