We are seeking a Channel Business Officer (CBO) to drive growth in usage of Alternative Channels (Agency and Mobile Banking) in the Copperbelt region, based at our Kitwe branch.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create awareness, promote and (cross) sell FINCA’s products and services.
• Identify, assess and enroll new Agents (including onboarding of new access points).
• Manage the agent portfolio and performance in the designated region, ensuring compliance and adherence to policy.
• Identify, assess and register new Savings Groups in the region.
• Be the champion for all digital products and services, providing support to the branch/es and customers.
• Provide key support to the Commercial sales team in the region (customer onboarding on digital channels is key)
• Mobilize new customers and support the adoption of new innovative solutions within the branch/es.
• Providing periodic training to agents to manage customer experience and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Conduct regular visits to all Agents in the designated area and ensure branding and other operational requirements are in place.
• Supervise Direct Sales Agents (DSAs) in the region.
• Participate in marketing activities.
• Prepare periodic performance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or any Banking or Business-related course.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the micro finance/banking sector.
• High proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
