Nanga Farms Limited is a large, irrigated sugarcane estate situated 25Km Northeast of Mazabuka in the Southern Province of Zambia. The company is part of the ABF Sugar Group, and its main activities are the cultivation of 2,860 hectares of sugarcane and the rearing of 1,400 head of cattle. The Company now invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of:

LDV Driver X2 – (B2)

Seasonal Role Reporting to – Transport Workshop Foreman

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transportation

·       Ensure that the Vehicle is clean and refueled all the time

·       Transport goods and passengers to designated locations safely and on time.

·       To ensure that the Vehicle is road worthy at all times.

Knowledge & Skills Required

·       Ability to detect a fault and report immediately

·       Time Management

·       Attention to detail

·       Knowledge of Safety regulations and practices

·       Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade (9) or twelve (12) School Certificate.
• Minimum of Class C 1 Driver’s License.
• Minimum of (2) two -years’ experience in a similar position.
• Good interpersonal skills, personal Organization as well as high level integrity.
• Should be 18 years and above.
